Hitty has pulled herself together and has even sat up to take a look at her new surroundings. I'm not sure she quite knows what to make of it all and perhaps that's why in certain lights she looks a little pouty. LOL  But I guess she has discovered that there are plenty of new friends to make so she stood up on her own two feet (measuring in at just a tad over 6 1/4 inches high) and has asked if she might not have some clothes to wear for visiting. Since she's graciously decided to look on the bright side, I can't turn her down so the wardrobe planning will soon begin!

Thanks, Tracey! I know that I'm awfully glad that I had had previous experience sewing itty bitty things when I use to sew all kinds of clothes for my oldest girls Barbie dolls.
Sewing the body (one a sewing machine) makes a person appreciate making bigger dolls, that's for sure! I don't think I'll tackle it again soon. =8-o

Oh, Bettsi, tell Hitty Joy that Hitty Mae says thank you! This Hitty mom is going slow but I suppose it's like the really Hitty said, "the spirit is willing but my pegs are weak!"

I want to see if I can't make a Hitty sized Ackley doll to go with my other smalls, Then they'll have a social and use their chairs, table and tea set. :)
